Welcome to the Toddler Gallery – a space exclusively dedicated to our littlest guests!
Curated specifically for kids aged 23 months and younger, this gallery includes experiences that are hands-on, sensory, tactile, and interactive – promoting open-ended and non-judgmental exploratory play. While the rest of the museum is easily accessible to children 2 years and older, we wanted to create a space that was just the domain of the younger kids – where they could feel and be safe, and engage with exhibits specifically designed for their age.
This gallery gives children the time to play and discover new worlds – and parents the time to engage and bond. Everything about this space is designed to provide wonder and development with active play to sensory play.
Research clearly shows that the earliest years of life are the most important to a child’s physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth – and ‘play’ is an imperative for holistic development. We designed the space to allow parents to bond with their children, and to allow kids to practice their gross and fine motor skills while exploring a wide variety of materials and activities.
