Inspiration Behind OliOli®:
As young parents themselves, our founders noticed a gap in spaces that provided families with opportunities for hands-on play and meaningful connections Thus, OliOli® was born, with a mission to bring the joy of curiosity, imagination and discovery to families in Dubai.
Interactive Exhibits For Curious Minds:
OliOli® boasts six permanent galleries with over 40 interactive exhibits, each carefully curated to achieve developmental and pedagogical objectives.
From the Air Gallery, where kids can explore scientific phenomena, to Toshi’s Nets, offering risky play in a safe environment, every gallery sparks creativity and exploration. Cars & Ramps is focused on giving kids the chance to persevere through failure whereas Future Park allows children to experience art in a collaborative and highly interactive manner.
Catering To A Wide Age Group
Our museum caters to children aged 1-11 years old, with exhibits designed to engage different age groups. Additionally, we provide a dedicated Toddler Gallery for our youngest guests aged 0-23 months, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all.
Educational Principles:
At OliOli®, we draw inspiration from various learning philosophies and developmental psychology research. Our goal is to provide open-ended exploration opportunities that foster creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. Most of all, we were deeply inspired by research on the impact of play on development and the works of Dr Stuart Brown, and the constructivist learning philosophy.
Community Engagement & Events:
Throughout the year, OliOli® hosts a variety of events and workshops in collaboration with external institutions such as Brand Dubai, Lego, and Museum of The Moon (to name a few). From holiday camps to special festivities, there’s always something new and exciting to experience at our museum.
Inclusivity & Accessibility:
We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for children of all abilities. Wheelchair-accessible galleries and sensory-friendly spaces ensure that every child can participate and enjoy their time at OliOli®.
Safety & Protocols:
The safety of our guests is our top priority. Our galleries are designed with safety measures in mind, and our team is trained in First Aid and CPR protocols to provide a secure and stress-free environment for families.
Technology Integration:
Technology plays a role in enhancing the learning experience at OliOli® without making it passive. Our Future Park Gallery, in partnership with teamLab, offers immersive exhibits that promote creativity and curiosity through art and science.
Parental Involvement:
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to join their little ones in exploring our exhibits and creating joyful memories together. Community programs and talks further support parents in their journey of holistic upbringing.
