It’s time for the messiest and most exciting event of the year; OliOli® MessFest 2023! From 25th to 30th December, MessFest is taking over the OliOli® outdoor area for six days of spectacularly messy fun!
Jump into a festival where every pop, bubble and splash is a ticket to the most memorable event of the year!

Experience exciting exploding experiments like rainbow pop rockets and bubble worms, have a bubble party with your friends, and even stand inside a giant bubble!

The best way to clean up after
all the messy madness is by challenging your friends on the hydro blaster or a fun
game of dunk-it!

MessFest FAQs
MessFest Only ticket includes 1-hour access to Messfest for 1 child and 1 adult. This ticket option can only be purchased online in the Early Bird period until 24th December.
Or opt for the All-Access ticket which grants access to our permanent galleries + Magical Winterland + MessFest. Includes access for 1 child and 1 adult.
With the All-access ticket, you are requested to start your visit by spending time in the museum, followed by OliOli®’s MessFest activities. Please note that we will NOT allow re-entry into the museum after the OliOli® MessFest activities (except access to the bathroom from the side doors).
The OliOli® parking lot will be partially closed on 23rd December, and closed between 24th-30th December.
We recommend parking at the RTA designated areas around the OliOli® building and on 4th street (please refer to the map below)
Please allow sufficient time to find parking and be able to arrive in time for your scheduled slot.
All OliOli®’s MessFest activities will be taking place outdoors, so please prepare accordingly with comfortable clothing, hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, and water bottles.
Given the nature of the event, Mess-Festers are encouraged to wear old clothes they don’t mind getting stained or messy and bring a change of clothing.
If you are visiting the OliOli® Galleries, please bring socks as they are required for certain areas.
OliOli®’s MessFest is suitable for all ages, with a range of sensory activities that are perfect for our youngest guests.
All OliOli® galleries are accessible to children of all ages, however, the Toddlers gallery, located on the first floor, is especially curated for kids aged 23 months and below, offering a safe environment for our littlest guests.
