It’s time for the messiest and most exciting event of the year; OliOli® MessFest 2024! From 25th to 30th December, MessFest is taking over the OliOli® outdoor area for six days of spectacularly messy fun!
Jump into a festival where every pop, bubble and splash is a ticket to the most memorable event of the year!

MessFest FAQs
- MessFest Only ticket includes 1-hour access to Messfest for 1 child and 1 adult. This ticket option can only be purchased online in the Early Bird period until 22nd December.
Or opt for the All-Access ticket which grants access to ALL galleries including our temporary exhibition Magical Winterland and MessFest. Includes access for 1 child and 1 adult.
With the All-access ticket, you are requested to start your visit by spending time in the museum, followed by OliOli®’s MessFest activities. Please note that we will NOT allow re-entry into the museum after the OliOli® MessFest activities (except access to the bathroom from the side doors).
The OliOli® parking lot will be partially closed on 23rd December, and closed between 24th-30th December.
We recommend parking at the RTA designated areas around the OliOli® building and on 4th street (please refer to the map below)
Please allow sufficient time to find parking and be able to arrive in time for your scheduled slot.
- All OliOli®’s MessFest activities will be taking place outdoors, so please prepare accordingly with comfortable clothing, hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, and water bottles.
- Given the nature of the event, Mess-Festers are encouraged to wear old clothes they don’t mind getting stained or messy. Please bring a towel and a change of clothes to clean up after enjoying the MessFest activities.
- If you are visiting the OliOli® Galleries, please bring socks as they are required for certain areas.
- OliOli®’s MessFest is suitable for all ages, with a range of sensory activities that are perfect for our youngest guests.
- All OliOli® galleries are accessible to children of all ages, however, the Toddlers gallery, located on the first floor, is especially curated for kids aged 23 months and below, offering a safe environment for our littlest guests.
